Forums - Gaming - Nintendo is going to kill Playstation.

I never said I want to use game streaming, I too think it will be the casual solution.

I do think SEED is more focused on Deep Learning kind of stuff.
I also feel like they would also be handling streaming related R&D, such as efficient compression of data packets for use in game streaming.

100% Speculation though.

I personally think streaming technology isn't going to be able to keep up since display technology is also advancing ... (streaming HDR content is only going to exasperate things further since you need to compress more data, 8-bits per channel vs 10/12-bits per channel + high frequency details)

SEED is straight up EA's research team and they mostly focus on graphics ...

Nintendo and Playstation can exist alongside each other... Not sure about Xbox though.

Mine.

Sony is heavily reliant on subscriptions and has lost tons of money in the past in the hope for a brighter future. That brighter future doesn't exist thanks to Apple/Android..

Even if Nintendo doesn't match Sony this year, they appear as of now, to be pretty close and Switch is nowhere near it's peak.

Those are the games that really matter though. The AAA stuff is icing on the cake, imo. If Nintendo only has 90% of Sony's stuff, the difference will more than make up for it.

Can I assume you don't think this is an outright troll? I want to answer other people but I'm worried about a permaban.

Nov 2016 - NES outsells PS1 (JP)

Don't Play Stationary 4 ever. Switch!

PC gaming will always exist. Think about that for a moment.

That hurts Sony though. Helps Nintendo if nobody is going to support laptops/pc-portables.

No. Just no.

Bill, please think before making another claim otherwise you'll only embarrass yourself further.

I know I'm waiting for your response since my last response to you so don't worry about getting infracted because of me ...

Unless Playstation is suicidal... unlikely

But it won't. RDR2, Anthem, Assassin's creed will never be on the Switch. Stop being so overly enthousiastic. There's a reason why those games will run just at 30 fps even on the Xbox one X. Some Japanese games probably (but not games like Code Vein) and indie + ports of older games mostly.

"Switch is matching PS4 in what is supposed to be PS4's peak year"

My man we have a front page.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

I guess you missed the recent aligned launches article.

Edit: Also, on the main page, it says PS4 is ahead by 3 million units year-to-date. Not exactly "matching". I'm aware Switch launched 3 months into 2017, but it also launched with the most anticipated Nintendo title in over almost a decade, and the fact that it launches period is more of an advantage. I'd wait until we see how much hardware all the non-Switch multiplats push over the holidays, before we get ahead of ourselves and declare a winner.

"Killing PlayStation" is a literal impossibility right now.
