It's a moogle, from Final Fantasy (specifically, Montblanc from FF:TA)
He's small, mild mannered and intelligent, and he talks quite a bit.

@Soriku: That makes much more sense... You kinda scared me there. But yes as epsilon said, That moogle is named Montblanc and is from FF:TA and does kinda fit you. Helpful, very talkative, friendly, and loyal to his friends and his clan.
