FFVIII was ... meh.

Story was poor, character average. The whole final plot/boss was crappy. Gameplay was interesting. Card game was really good.

go play FF Tactic if u want a good FF.

I loved the card game... The rest of it, not so much. I do have to give the game credit for having one of the most addictive side plots ever, though. I couldn't get enough of those damned cards.

I beat the 1st disc in a day but spent 2 1/2 hours playing the cards. Then I gave it back the next day cause I borrowed it.
