How well will PUBG do on consoles?

It will barely move the needle 17 18.48%

It'll sell well, but less than on PC 50 54.35%

It'll be a huge hit 18 19.57%

500 million sales on launch day 7 7.61%

Total:92

I honestly have no idea. But Minecraft is still selling like bonkers so everything is possible.

Im thinking it ll do like 2-3m lifetime on the xbox one.
Its mostly a PC game, that ll appeal more to the PC market.

hardware sales wise: "It will barely move the needle"

Depends on the definition of success.

It's a small studio that Microsoft is helping out and AFAIK MS is footing the marketing bills. So how much does it really need to sell, in Early Access mind you, to be a success? Or is it like Titanfall where the exclusive factor sways the success barometer into something laughably exaggerated?

People have thrown numbers out from 500k up to 3 million. All of that is a success imho. This is an Early Access game without a huge team or budget.

Isn't the game still in beta on Steam?

Is PUBG good, or is it a fad like Five Nights at Freddy's?

It is indeed.

It's good to play with friends from what I've played. Playing it on my own hasn't rerally been as fun though, but that's just me.

For it to sell 10m, i'd say it's more than just FNAF.

OT: "It'll sell well, but less than on PC" pretty much nails it on the head. The game isn't as easy to pick up as Minecraft is, but it's managed to garner a crowd for those who wanted a pure BR shooter and nothing more to it.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
