Its still a dissapointing number, even all things considered.I mean, somewhat expected, but still dissapointing.Hopefully Capcom gets its head put of its ass and make an actual effort and make a new original MH for the Switch.Or you know, just make what it should have made from the start and port World to the Switch at the same time as the other versions.

How on Earth is that dissapointing? Capcom has sold this game twice already: the original 3DS vesion, its 3DS upgrade and now the Switch upscaling. How many times do they think people are going to buy the same game in such a short amount of time?

Well, it just seems like such a huge drop from the other versions, that I'd call it disappointing. The MH fans must be getting tired of the constant milking themselves.

He has a point though the game would have sold the bulk of what it would have on 3DS by now it's like the RE4 porting at some point you're not going to get comparable returns to before and with the case of MH the majority of the fans often pick up the game the first time around, the fact they got 300k from the NS which is at around 1m in the Asian region is a surprise itself as they achieved around a 30% attach rate.

It must not have been that much of a surprise considering they haven't sold out on their shipments yet.

So Switch has probably passed another "test" (Capcom internal estimates for this game was about 300k lifetime I think?) - when are they going to give the system real support?

Hopefully RE:Rev is a final exam but I wouldn't be shocked if we get Street Fighter 4 or RE4 or an old Dead Rising game as yet ANOTHER test

Those are midterms. Finals will be a real, new game!

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

Eh, don't expect decent support from Capcom on the Switch.

- No Disney Afternoon Collection despite being NES games

- No Megaman Legacy Collection despite being SNES games

- No Monster Hunter World despite MH being succesful on Nintendo handhelds. The franchise has never even been popular on home consoles.

- No rumoured Okami remaster despite being a Zelda-inspired game and the touch-screen could work wonders for this kind of game. It was even on the Wii.

Looks to me that some sort of deal was made with Sony to not support the Switch with any major games. I can't see any other reason why these games are not on the Switch otherwise. I have no proof of course, just my gut feeling.

It's a shame because I'd really love to try Okami some day...
