Earlier tonight, the packaging images were revealed for the new Super Mario Odyssey amiibo. Fans have already been pouring over every tiny detail from the boxarts to see if anything is new. And as it turns out, it looks like we have the names of three more kingdoms – potential spoilers ahead.

The packaging shots offer another small look at Super Mario Odyssey’s map. It seems that three new kingdoms have been confirmed.

The names are still in flux, but the new kingdoms are the Snow Kingdom, Mushroom Kingdom, and Lake Kingdom. That would put Super Mario Odyssey at ten kingdoms up to this point. There could be other areas that have yet been named as well due to unidentified landmasses on the map. Some also believe that you’ll eventually land on the moon as well.

So what content will I miss when I don't buy those pieces of plastic?

How many of these kingdoms have we seen footage of? I only recall seeing about 4 or so. Luncheon, Metro (this is the main-city area?), Sand and the wooded area.
