OK, I'll go to Argentina instead then

Watching the Top Gear Patagonia special definitely sold me on Argentina (and Chile), so many gorgeous landscapes in that special. Definitely want to go on vacation there at some point in my life.

Yeah, I'd like to go to Chile too. In fact, there is an Argentinian and Chilean on this very site whom I speak to, but I don't know if we'd be comfortable meeting in person

Are we really that interesting? :O

Pretty awesome country to go to, great cuisine and of course reggae music so... yeah! If it wasn't for the fact I've already been there and experienced it Jamaica would have made my list too, still considered it though!

Glad you enjoyed it. :)

Have you ever been to France? I assume that you'd at least be planning to go there eventually considering your studies.

No, I have only been past 300 miles/ outside of midwest once and that was to Japan with a friend paying half. I would like to visit even beyond 30 countries in my lifetime, C'est difficile.

Oh, you live in the Midwest? I was born in Michigan myself. I have been to France before, I studied in high school there for 3 months, which makes my current French ability rather embarrassing, because it used to be much better.

Yes, so flight tickets are more here internationally. All in all likely if I get a job in the midwest I won't travel, but job on west coast= travels to Asia, and job on east coast= travels to Europe.

I live in the Great Lakes region myself, so flights can be pretty expensive here too unfortunately.
