Assassins Creed is a lot better on consoles. You need a really good PC to run AC. Not worth upgrading PC to play this game or Mass effect due out soon. If you want these games your better off getting consoles to play them.

Both PC versions of AC and ME are/will be better than the console versions, so I'm not sure where you're getting since either people have a good enough PC that can play it, or they just need to spend less than what a 360 costs to upgrade their PC. Just because your PC doesn't run AC you're not allowed to dish it on other people.

Did you forget that you most likely get your money back from upgrade through buying the cheaper PC games? On average a PC gamer spends $20 less on each game than a 360/PS3 gamer.

I'm not going to get it. In fact, Gamefly just delivered the PS3 version to me yesterday so I'm going to finally get through it and then never worry about this game again.... or at least that's the plan.

I seriously don't know how it can work out (the controls)

You can always get a gamepad for about $20...I play all sorts of PC games with a gamepad.

As for AC, I think I'm going to wait until it's $30.

Already beat the 360 version, so right now i'm more interested in the sequel.

Has anyone heard anything about that?

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

My PC is more than capable as it is thank you :)

I bought my PC for over $3000 Australian dollars 15 months ago and it can not play any of the latest games. The graphics card alone in it set me back $700 Au. I got ripped off big time and I know it.

Sounds like someone's angry from a bad business decision...

Anyway, whatever, you're free to play the game on any platform, but don't assume nobody can play AC on their PC...it's cheaper than you think...especially considering what shio said...you really will make up for the expensive PC rig with the cheaper games over time.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

/agree Ben,

That sucks that you got ripped off Rock_On but it doesn't mean that its impossible to build a good computer on the cheap. I've been running AC without SLI enabled (it needs a patch, SLI in AC is kinda unstable right now) and on one card I've been running at a solid 60 FPS with absolute maximum settings at 1680x1050. That one card you can buy right now for $195...and if you can remember to send in the MIR its only $165.

You should be able to build a solid gaming rig for a fairly reasonable price around a card with that kind of performance at that price.

I'm going to wait for a demo. As buggy and weird as the console versions were, and as stupid as the specs are (very poorly optimized), I'm suspect of the quality of the PC version. If there is a demo, I'll check it out, otherwise meh.

As for being able to run it, my rig meets the specs fine, but they still shouldn't be that high IMO.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Yep... that's what i do for non FPS/Strategy games.

Really if I could get most of the games on my computer and just hook it up to my TV I would, but most the games i want to play are on the Wii, PSP and PS3.

Of course i might not even play them once Spore and Left 4 Dead come out.

I would, if I didn't already have the console version, and my computers didn't suck. One keeps crashing, and I need to fix it, and the other still runs Windows 98. Yeah, ok, I need to just scrap that one.

My computer, though not top of the line anymore, is still pretty darn good and I just barely make spec for AC.

Req: Got:
2.6 dual core 2.8 dual core
nvidia 6800 nvidia 6800
1gb ram 1gb ram

So I will just be able to play it and at low settings and not the greatest frame rates probably. How this game can run and look so good on a console and it needs so much for PC just doesn't make any sense. Game companies need to get their s#$% together with PC gaming and not do this to us.
