Nah, not if I'm getting a PS3, that kind of game I'd rather play on a console.

No. The PC isn't suited to games like this unless you use a controller, and then the reasons for buying it are nullified.

I seriously don't know how it can work out (the controls)

There have been reports that the game actually plays better with Keyboard+Mouse than a controller. That's what people who have played the game have been saying.

Seems they nailed the controls right for the PC.

I have played the pirated version (further explaination on the circumstances here) and the controls did take me about 5 minutes to get used to but after that I thought they were fine. Really not a problem at all honestly.

I'm not sure what they were like on the consoles but I don't remember hearing a lot of praise for them so I doubt they were noticeably better or worse.

edit: Before anyone gives me crap about trying the pirated version you can feel free to log onto steam next week and it will tell you I'm playing a legal copy~

To Each Man, Responsibility

I got this. I started playing it. It crashed. *sigh*

I'll have another go this weekend as I'm trying to dig out my PC 360 controller thingy so I can use a joypad for it.

I am largely platform agnostic. I fail to understand why some people get overly fanboyish about what is an inanimate piece of electronics that's obsolete even before it's launched, when there are far more important things to champion, such as preventing environmental destruction or preventing millions of people dying unnecessarily from illnesses. This fact however, doesn’t mean I am not someone who doesn’t enjoy gaming as a pastime (as I have done for the last 20 years) or doesn’t have a strong interest in how the market is evolving – hence my presence on this site.

Platforms owned – PC, DS, X-Box 360, PS3, PSP and Wii.

I know someone who is getting it.

You can always get a gamepad for about $20...I play all sorts of PC games with a gamepad.

As for AC, I think I'm going to wait until it's $30.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

That's nonsense. The closest thing to this game that I can think of on PC is Tomb Raider Anniversary, and that controls (surprsisngly) very well with a keyboard and mouse.

I'm definately not buying this. Heard too many bad things about it. I've been wanting to try it out though....probably just rent it.

Save my money for Mass Effect and Mario Kart :)

Is AC a good game ???

it is like there good point but they are also many flaws and surprisingly, at the end, all review are +80%.

Isn't AC overrated ?

Time to Work !

Assassins Creed is a lot better on consoles. You need a really good PC to run AC. Not worth upgrading PC to play this game or Mass effect due out soon. If you want these games your better off getting consoles to play them.

I bought my PC for over $3000 Australian dollars 15 months ago and it can not play any of the latest games. The graphics card alone in it set me back $700 Au. I got ripped off big time and I know it.
