PC Specs: CPU: 7800X3D || GPU: Strix 4090 || RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 || Main SSD: WD 2TB SN850

What the fuck am i looking at?

Hey, now they can join the "me too" groupie with Bethesda and Blizzard. That's all the industry needs, "me too" ideas, ones that aren't even remotely fresh either.

Knowing it being based on DOTA means it'll be F2P and knowing Valve means micro trans and trading cards within a card game.

I don't think it's sane for me to expect Valve to create an entirely new fresh game, let alone a sequel to any of their good ones (HL3, the dream is dead).

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

Gabe Newell did say a few months ago they were working on 3 fully fledged new games, for VR though but one would assume (or hope lol) that it means also non-VR modes for people without HTC Vive's.

I imagine they will be managable smaller experiences, either F2P based or simply minimal in design and scope. Valve hasn't done anything big since Portal 2 (which was back in 2011).

Valve is making a new game. Last game was Dota 2 i think back in 2013.

Remember when Valve actually developed games?

...I don't.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."
