Cordelia being in it is a plus for me, but so far, I'm leaning towards not interested. I'm still quite turned off by the big focus on Shadow Dragon, Awakening and Fates.

It is all loss, no gain. You open yourself up to random bugs or issues while gaining nothing in return.

You can probably turn off Perma death like in recent games.
The "gain" may be the same as in Fire Emblem. Being funneled into playing the game using certain strategies that you normally would ignore.

Yeah, in casual mode, permadeath is turned off.
