No? FFXIII barely got some cosmetic DLC and everything before that nothing.

It's so much worse with FFXV though because that game was released barebones and was in dire need for updates.

Yeah but Final Fantasy X, X-2, XII, XIII-2, VII, IV all had some forms of updates that added new content. XV is the worst offender, but It's not like it's something new xD

I'd say it's still at least a year or two away, I'd imagine.

Those games didn't add whole portions of the game though. They were complete on release. Their updates didn't enhance the games in a way that could be considered necessary. Even the amount of changes between FFXII and Zodiac can't be considered essential.

I haven't touched the game since I finished it in December, have the updates changed much?

XIII-2 added a new ending, Casino, extra story content, new battles and costumes.

Since December they have added Timed Quests, Off Road Regalia, two dlc episodes which include new areas, Carnival, new areas accessible, changed chapter 13 and added a new part in chapter 13 to play as Gladio, new cutscenes, new weapons, new quests, new costumes, new recipes(LOL), ability to use the camera to take you own pictues, and probably some other things that I have forgotten.

Next week the beta for the online mode launches, if you have the season pass then you can partake in it.

That's good then. I have the game, I just haven't started to play it with my backlog. It's next on the list though.
