I work on the corp. retail side of the industry for one of the co's YOU SAY YOU SPEAK WITH and I'm calling you on your bluff. You, my friend, are lying.
I've just finished up with MI6 and not once did your shit site come up in any conversation with any of our mfctr. contacts, and we discussed sales research in length!
The bottom line is, ioi doesn't work with retailers because if he did, we would know about it. That's it. Your lies don't work with the press or with publishers or manufacturers for that matter.
More important than any of this is the following baseless claim you make against NPD:
"If their (NPD) estimates are way off one month they wont say "we overestimated the sales" they wait till the next month and shave off the excess numbers that they overstated the last month. We would rather not lie to the viewers of the site and offer the best service we can."
This couldn't be further from the truth and it actually slanders the corporation, which is a matter best taken up by NPD's lawyers. I will send this wonderful insight from you to them and anxiously await what they have to say. SSJ12, as a PR professional, you know the dangers of stating claims like this, so you had better get your paperwork in order.
