no....... I believe microsoft and sony still have some form of quality control..

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

Obligatory dick measuring Gaming Laptop Specs: Sager NP8270-GTX: 17.3" FULL HD (1920X1080) LED Matte LC, nVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M, Intel Core i7-4700MQ, 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3, 750GB SATA II 3GB/s 7,200 RPM Hard Drive

This is obviously fake. Microsoft wouldn't be as stupid to do this... people would immediately recognize it as a rip-off, and the inevitable suing of Microsoft by Nintendo would occur.

There is no way this is real.

Nintendo did not invent, and does not own motion controls.  I could say Nintendo copide Atari et. al. by creating a video game system, but I'm not that petty and shallow.

Even if MS does make a  motion sensing controller, I doubt it would look like that picture which is a "mock up" of a "sketch" from an "unnamed source."  That's the height of credibility right there.

While it would be a blatent rip off it may have been designed to get around Nintendo Patents. Look at the Playstation controller it was sesigned to get around existing Nintendo patents of the day. It all depends on how the patents are worded. Somethign so obvious like this released from a Major company with a competitor who is a major company would most likely have worked hard to keep it as similiar as possible but different enough to avoid patents...or maybe they just paid for the patents.

De85. Nintendo may not have invented these things for gaming but they surely introduced or reintroduced their implementation with regards to gaming styles. Nintendo bought back the analog stick for 3D gaming which had a large impact. Nintendo established the crosspad for 2D gaming and as far as motion sensitive gaming goes I have yet to see a controller that does everythign the Wiimote does(ie pointing+motion sensing+sound+ standard control)

^^ The patents on the wiimote will be incredibly specific. You would be able to get away with something almost identical without infringing any patents.

If it looked anything like that mock-up it would probably be overstepping the line though.

wow, just wow, thanks for being original microsoft, jk

but this must be fake

It's a mockup, folks.

Worse than being sued is MS's sudden admittance that Nintendo is and always was right. It would send their primarily hardcore fanbase into full revolt.

Maybe next gen, but this gen? Don't think so.

"I mean, c'mon, Viva Pinata, a game with massive marketing, didn't sell worth a damn to the "sophisticated" 360 audience, despite near-universal praise--is that a sign that 360 owners are a bunch of casual ignoramuses that can't get their heads around a 'gardening' sim? Of course not. So let's please stop trying to micro-analyze one game out of hundreds and using it as the poster child for why good, non-1st party, games can't sell on Wii. (Everyone frequenting this site knows this is nonsense, and yet some of you just can't let it go because it's the only scab you have left to pick at after all your other "Wii will phail1!!1" straw men arguments have been put to the torch.)" - exindguy on Boom Blocks
