Forums - Gaming - Exclusive Commentary: Why is it that only MS and Sony are focused on?

What numbers are you expecting? I only follow some of them, but there are other channels I check in from time to time just to hear some news or discussions about Nintendo, and that's just from recommendations I get. As for how many channels cover Sony and MS, I don't really have a clue.

Alot. Ever since that ad demonetization of political vids, alot of the youtubers who cover that stuff are starting to branch out from that type of content or forced to use more patreon or superchat donations to supplement their income. So it makes sense that youtubers go where the money is so to speak. I'm sure that there's alot of youtubers who would cover new releases from nintendo if nintendo would allow them to monetize their vids.

Well, I'm sure I can assure you that there are a lot of youtubers covering various parts of Nintendo, and while I don't know how many of them use other means to earn profit, that doesn't stuff people from covering them.

Then why are people making threads like this noticing there's a difference between coverage of nintendo games compared to sony's games or microsoft's games?

I at least noticed that when I put in 'video game exclusive' into Youtube's search engines I mostly get PS4 vs Xbox1 talk. Also PC Master race

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

Same reasons people don't talk about PC exclusive games, they sell to their audince and are separate from the rest of the industry.

Qft.

I got nothing nintendo related when I did a search on youtube for "video game". I also looked at the gaming tab, no nintendo. Looked at trending tab and I finally saw a vid on something related to nintendo called "is the nintendo 2DS XL worth it?" in the brand-new tech section.

Thanks Google, I am guessing you don't watch Nintendo related videos.

It wasn't there of course. What did wording did ya use to search? I've did my searches without listing any brand or type of console/hardware.

because most don't care about discussing it?

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Search algorithms use past data they have on you to help suggest content, so it may be more likely to show you non-Nintendo stuff.
Try testing in a VM, another country, on someone else's account, in a different household ect.
With the term "video game", I found Nintendo related stuff, or stuff with a Nintendo character / product in the thumbnail, almost exclusively (on my account in Australia).

This is why it is hard for me to care about your (not you) argument when you (not you) say stuff like "the first result on Google Images."
It means almost nothing.

I am not taking a shot at you, just trying to add some context.

I wasn't looking at google, but youtube.com. I'm gonna take a guess that you watch nintendo related content?
