Me too. It would also be cool if we could see our friends fight while we're waiting to join the match instead of that practice stage.

Are you serious?  You could do that with the original!  Actually, me and my friends used to do just that while eating in between sessions.  We'd set up four comps to fight, and bet on who'd win.
