It's going to be a long, long time before Blu-Ray makes any kind of dent in DVD sales. Because of the upscaling DVD players and even upscaling game consoles, most movie lovers are going to just stick with DVD's and and what them in HD. There's really no need to switch to Blu-Ray unless you are using it as a storage media. I have a LOT of stuff on my PC that I would love to burn to a Blu-Ray disc. I can imagine how much a RW Blu-Ray disc will cost. Anyway, with Blu-Ray on the market now, you would think that DVD prices would drop some on new releases right? Nope, I still see new DVD's costing $19.99 or $22.99 for special edition 2 disc sets. Blu-Ray has yet to effect DVD prices.
