cant you jsut accept that Blu-ray is eating away DVD's marketshare. It is predicted that Blu-ray will control the market by 2011.

That's the problem with predictions: It is guesswork, nothing more. I wouldn't be surprised if BluRay simply takes the position of the LDs.

well considering LDs never sold 7 - 9 million dollars worth of media a week or took 8% of the DVD market I believe it already passed any chance of that position.
