Man Chong was known to be extremely tall. I believe history has him at over 6 foot. I remember one thing about him , even though he was a advisor to Cao Cao, he typically acted very bluntly. Heres a qoute from The scholars forum which is a fan site dedicated to the history of the 3k. Torture was a common way to interogate someone back then.

 

Cao Cao suspected that Yang Biao was plotting with Yuan Shu (because Yang Biao was married to Yuan Shu's sister). He sent Man Chong to interrogate Yang Biao. Xun Yu and Kong Rong begged Man Chong to just ask Yang Biao questions, but Man Chong ignored them and had Yang Biao beaten instead. However, after this he was convinced of Yang Biao's innocence and spoke to Cao Cao in his defense.

That's what I'm worried about. I'm not worried because of the screenshots though, since they're probably just trying to show off the world they've created without things obstructing the view. Actually it could be pretty cool if, considering you're supposed to be a powerful general (i.e. a leader), you could take troops to accompany you on your travels. Ah, how I miss the old bodyguard system from DW2/3.

I would love the bodygaurd system to return! and also versus mode :P 

I think they have trouble coding the bodygaurd AI to follow the players, since now you can do more tricky things, the AI would have trouble to follow along.

There is a bodyguard system in DW8, but it's very different from the early games. I really dislike the new system but I loved the old one. I also don't think AI is a problem. It takes effort for sure, but shouldn't be too hard. Uncharted and Assassin's Creed games are an excellent example showing it's possible to make the AI move well in different ways.

IIRC it's not actually true she was ugly. I believe she personally started the rumours about her being ugly specifically to deter any man who was interested in her for reasons other than her intelligence from pursuing her, thus resulting in her marriage with Zhuge Liang who valued her intelligence.

If that's how it went and she started the rumours herself, then there's no reason they couldn't have been false.

That's the romanticized version and yeah basically how Koei follows it while in reality girls could not choose their husband and she was proposed to Zhuge because of her family.

Looks great as usual. Interested in the amount of content they decide to add, it has been quite some time since an addition to the mainline series, so I hope they put their work into it.

I can't speak for the second one, but I played the first one recently and thought it looked great too.

I can honestly say, the second one not only looks visual gameplay is almost same except it is semi open world and it works.  They add MP maps in aswell with an arena and all.  (it is on sale in PAL PSN).
