No doubt that there will be bundles for GTA4 (the shops will see to that), but whether there is any official ones with pretty box art, I dunno. Maybe $50 million for Exclusive content from MS and Sony payed for a bundle?...

I don't think there could possibly be an exclusive bundle deal with Sony.  Microsoft should (and may have) really have locked up exclusive bundle access as part of the $50 million, but at the very least they won't have lost that exclusivity to Sony.


Sorry starcraft. You dont know that. Rockstar never said the $50 million was so Microsoft could own the launch. They said it was for exclusive DLC, and thats what they are getting. Sony would have been stupid to take that lying down so they may have locked up exlusive bundle rights with money.

It seems to be too late for Microsoft in Europe and GTAIV will seal the deal.

I made my own GTA4 bundle with a Premium 360 on Amazon UK for less than 300 € including delivery. That's much cheaper than this PS3 bundle.

Hmmm this is interesting. I would have thought that a major bundle like this would have been announced a few weeks before launch like the MGS bundle.

At least MS still has NA for now. This bundle will further eat away at 360 sales in PAL and that is great news.

Thats why I used the word "think."  And Sony locking up exclusive bundle rights makes no sense.  Why would they not talk about it for all this time?

"Swedish retailer Webhallen has today revealed the first image of a new PlayStation 3 bundle which will be launching in Europe alongside Grand Theft Auto IV. The bundle includes the standard 40GB PlayStation 3 console and a copy of the game.

The price listed is 4499kr, which is the same as the Gran Turismo 5 bundle which launched just over a week ago. While availability in other countries has not been announced, this indicates that the GTA bundle should sell for £299.99 in the United Kingdom and €399.99 elsewhere."

 

So basically they're giving away GTA4 for free? Holy crap.
