Did I see mention of a Switch version?

"Switch between Remastered and the original StarCraft with the click of a button!"

OT: Decent price, much better offerings as well than what they were giving you with that one class Necromancer DLC with Diablo III.

The remaster exists mainly because Blizzard wants to gain back that huge Koerean market, especially since they are still playing Brood War over there and SCII really turned them away rather quickly.

Are they expensive..? I think my friend still has it too.

In PAL territory's you could be looking at $250 - $400 AUD.
You can buy a brand new Playstation 4 for about $400 AUD.

I have been trying to find a cheap copy for years. Haha.

Holy shit - just lost 5 minutes of my life to Ebay with my eyes boggling.

starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS

When you don't know what a game is

SC2 has been on a terrible slide the past year and a half hopefully BWHD wakes Blizzard up to actually take action.

Man, it's so much more expensive there. Perhaps you can get a US copy instead?

I wonder why it's so pricy for you.

Cant. Not without modifying my console. Not ready to do that.

The irony is.. The PC version is free.

Reason for it is Blizzard only did a limited run for the PAL version. (Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Europe, UK.) So it's completely supply/demand. Pretty sure it's release got cancelled in Europe as well. So the bulk of carts were sold in Australia which has a pop of only 24 million and all the other PAL territory's (500+ mill) are competing for that limited stock.

StarCraft 2's release didnt help either.

Same scenario's is also what pushed up Jurassic Park: Operation Genesis's price on the original Xbox. Limited run... Works on the Xbox 360. Plus Jurassic World created some extra demand for Jurassic park games... And it was actually a really good game. - Price has slowly come down for that game thankfully. Was hard to get a copy for under $100 AUD at one point.

If anyone has a PAL copy of StarCraft 64. I'll give you $50 bucks for it. :P

There is also some movement on remastering WarCraft 2 and Diablo 2.

I am going to assume it's also one of your favorite games of all time with that forum name? :P

It was actually a decent game as well on the N64.
My local video store still has it in stock. I keep asking the owner to sell the copy to me. Haha

I made that suggestion because that's what I ended up doing with games on the SNES. Pricy games like Turtles in Time and Megaman X3, I got for 10 USDs each. Language difference was a small price to pay to have the games, haha.

Because the series has been strong on PC and started there.

Have you seen the Korean tounreys over the past decade or two?, they are vastly popular on PC and it's exactly why they are aiming this remaster at them.

You have Diablo III and Overwatch on consoles, the others on PC, where their market is.
