Looks like PS4 Firmware update 5.00 isn't too far away, Beta registration for the next big update is now open:

Usually the Beta starts about 3 weeks after registration opens and the final release is usually about 1 month after the Beta started, so we're probably looking at early September for the final release.

Yeah, the original (only being able to select that you are a PSNow sub) was a mistake, you can select "I do not currently subscribe to PS Now" now.

Still makes me wonder why that question is even being asked, there must be something related to PSNow in update 5.00. Hopefully they'll give us the option to download PS4 games on PS4 instead of just letting us stream them, would make the service quite a lot better.

Maybe they're going to do that, that makes sense to me. Especially since MS does it now, too with their service.
