It's all a conspiracy by the console vendors to make you buy all the consoles instead of just one.
I think everyone missed it. The typical argument is "only nintendo games sell on nintendo systems," as in 3rd party games don't get good sales numbers. Only he twisted it, saying nintendo doesn't publish on other consoles.

Unfortunately this issue has two sides. One that has already been addressed that the other console makers don't release all their big games multiplatform, the second being you don't HAVE to buy their console in the first place. It's their first/second party software, they decide whatever they wish with it. This argument could even be turned over to PC vs MAC/Linux for gaming. Developers could EASILY make games compatible with Linux/MAC, but they don't because it's THEIR choice. Nintendo could easily make their first/second party titles available multiplatform, and probably make more money, but then people wouldn't necessarily have to buy their console anymore. The 360 or PS3 would be a better choice as you'd get the more "hardcore" titles plus all of the AAA Nintendo games. Silly Game_Boy, Trix are for kids.

How do we know that it isn't Sony and MS that isn't allowing Nintendo games to sell on their consoles? Worried perhaps that if they did, and those games did so well, soon others would charge them with the criticism of 'only Nintendo games sell on your consoles'.
Just because this might be the case is no reason to keep Ninty games off those consoles. Because this is just as likely as the OP's case, the boycott should be broaden to include MS, Sony, PC and cell phones. Board games as well just because I haven't seen a LoZ from Parker Brothers either!

I think we should all sign a petition to make Nintendo bring Super Mario Galaxy II to the PS3. I'm sure they will heed our call, and we can finally play Nintendo games on non-Ninty hardware. Its been 20+ years, and I am still waiting to do that :P
