in 2015 it was Battlefront

in 2016 it was Battlefield 1

in 2017 it is Battlefront 2

So which game do you think they will release as their big shooter/COD competitor in 2018. A new Battlefield? A new Titanfall or something else by Respawn? Or maybe it will be Anthem but I see it more as Mass Effect style game than FPS multiplayer oriented game.

I guess Battlefield 2(ww2) or 5 (modern)

I hope they do not make the same mistake again and put Titanfall a week between BF and CoD. Titanfall 3 should be a Spring game, besides Respawn is working on a 3rd person Star Wars game.

They'll have two most likely. Much like Activision is releasing CoD and Destiny this year, EA will probably drop both Anthem and a new Battlefield next year.

I would really love if they could bring back Medal of Honor either making it a new experience or take the gameplay from battlefield and make it close quarter multiplayer instead huge battle with story ofcourse, but I doubt that will happen unfortunately

Anthem is my guess.
