It wasn't directed at what you were saying, it was directed at this thread.
"Threads are not posts and as such there should go a lot of thought and time into making a thread. Single sentence threads or Just links or embedded videos are an absolute no go."

Yeah, but you see, this thread is a single line AND a link. That means the OP took the time to read at least a bit from the thing he's posting. That's above average quality under the current rules.
Of course with new rules that won't fly.
