Well, for the first time since the decimalisation of the British currency, the the British coins have all been redesigned, what do you guys think?

I think the coins look really nice, myself. To my knowledge, they also have a unique concept 

cool idea, but on their own they arent very aestheticaly pleasing are they?

I'm not british, but the shield (is it from a coat of arms?) thing is pretty cool.

@Thatmax, I think it's the black, had that have been a different colour, the coins would have been pretty nice.

 The Royal Mint only commisioned them today, or yesterday (not sure), so I don't think they've hit the machines just yet.
