The 3D levels look too on rails to me, not nearly as fun as Sonic Adventure Battle 2, hoping that it's just that first level that plays like that, but knowing Sega that's the majority of the game right there.
So do you do anything besides moving forward in this game? Doesn't seem like it involves any skill what so ever.

how can anyone like these clusterf*cks of games >_> just... no.., 3d parts are cancer
Looks really good. Let's see what they're gonna do to fuck it up.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
2D and 2.5D elements look fine.... but again its the 3D stuff that kinda throws me.
It doesn't actually look too bad! But I'm still more interested in how Sonic Mania will turn out.
Nothing stands out as terrible but nothing feels fresh. Definitely playing safe with this one... too safe.
The chatter is annoying though.
Looks... solid but, I don't know. There's nothing that really stands out.
But it looks solid, which is more than I could have hoped for. Sonic games were a mess lately.

Yep, the 3D portions are basically QTEs. And all that automated BS has infected the 2D aspects, like the stupid homing attacks.
