E3 2017: Destiny 2 Runs At 30 FPS On Xbox One X, Just Like PS4 Pro

It won't be 60 fps.

Destiny 2 will run at 30 FPS on Xbox One X, game director Luke Smith confirmed today at E3. He appeared on Geoff Keighley's show today to reveal some technical detail. That's the same frame rate as Destiny 2 on PS4 Pro.

Some thought Destiny 2 might run at a higher frame rate on Xbox One X because the console is more powerful than PS4 Pro, but that's not going to be the case, it seems. One possibility is that Bungie ''wanted'' to keep the frame rate the same on platforms to ensure the experience is as close to the same as possible. "30 frames per second on all consoles," Smith said.

As for Xbox One X, the more powerful console launches on November 7, priced at $500. A number of analysts believe that price point is too high.

Wow, only 30fps on the Pro. That's sad.

Same is true for "Crackdown 3" its 30fps too (on Xbox One X).

Also I watched a video with "Rand al Thor 19" (a big xbox guy) who talks to developers & insiders,

and he said in one of his last videos hes heard theres "ALOT of parity between Xbox One X  & PS4pro", like ALOT of it.

Everyone expecting Xbox One X to clearly offer better looking games, that run better than PS4pro might be in for a surprise when that doesnt end up happending.

Because they kept the Jaguar CPU. 60fps is going to be just as rare as it is on Pro.

agree not even in 1080p mode they offer 60fps
