I agree. I miss those days where their first party was producing things like Viva Piñata, Crackdown, Fable and the likes while actively creating content through 2nd party developers such as Gears, Lost Odyssey or Alan Wake, or agressively making deals with third parties in the form of Tales of Vesperia, Ninja Gaiden, or collaborations with Certain Affinity for ports of Left 4 Dead onto the 360.
While I'm actually glad because of the way they did the conference (i.e. games, games and more games), I'm not really hyped for Microsoft at all. Their idea of enticing me to purchase their hardware isn't really how I'd like it to be, and I'm not sure what's all that raw power of Xcorpio for outside better multiplatforms, which I agree it will entice some people, but that steep price might also scare them. It's also a bit telling that their only new IPs I can think of so far are Sea of Thieves and Super Lucky's Tale for this conference, as far as MS itself is concerned. Although I'm glad they're trying with that fox game, looks charming.
EDIT: I also forgot to say that one of their most enticing things is...the ability to play OG Xbox games. Seriously, I love the B/C aspect of Xbox One, but it's quite telling too that the thing I like the most from Xbox One is the fact that it allows me to play 360 and OG Xbox games. xD
