Microsoft had 1 exclusive AAA game this E3.

So hopefully all the microsoft owners are voteing "backward compatibility".

Good to know. This is incredibly bad. No wonder many Xbox fans are disappointed in the Xbox forum. Thanks for the concrete information.

Sony would like to announce even more big games on the PlayStation Experience and Pariser Gamesweek. Microsoft used only the E3 last year - how will it be this year? What do you think guys ?

Nostalgia is awesome.....

in small doses.

Old games can't be the main thing to play on a modern gen console because it would defeat the point of buying it. Might as well sell it. I buy new hardware to enjoy games that are new and have higher quality experiences that are more immersive than the gen before.

nostalgia is awesome, yes. i play many old great games in my life and in future someday again :) But i have all my consoles forever, my motto: Nostalgia is important - I never sell old consoles :)
Nice, that there are many new good IP's and especially AAA games.

Would be nice if developers see this survey / the result. we have now the end-result, i think.

I want always new "AAA Games". 206, 81.75%

Backward compatibility is... 22, 8.73%

I can not decide. 4, 1.59%

I only play small /minigames. 2, 0.79%

See results 18, 7.14%

Thanks for your answers, it was very interesting to read.

If there's nothing new to play that interests me then hell yeah b/c. But when I buy a new system, it isn't to replace an old one, it's to get access to new games.

Backwards compatability, that way AAA games don't have to be exclusive to one console and everyone can play great games from great developers. New and old games for everyone! Now that would truly be great for the GAMER

Xbox One is the only console that gives you both backwards compatibility and new console exclusive AAA games. So I pick that one.

New AAA Exclusives.

Exactly, best of both worlds

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.

If you have to decide, what do you choose? One thing. And vote, if you like.

Here are my thoughts/opinion: I personally love games with attention to detail - with great gameplay, a nice story and interesting characters. These games mean a lot of effort for the developers. But there are developers who want to make the players happy. Small games are also okay, but I like the big games ("AAA Games"). Backward compatibility of games - It's a feature & that is okay, but I'm not interested because I keep all my (old) consoles as gamers. I can always play the old games. It is important to me that developers are producing new great games :) And what do you think ? Let's see what you think so, wish you a great (E3-)week.

LOL whats wrong with you 25 people Pffft!

What the heck? First time seeing this thread but BC is just a nice bonus. Who buys a new console just to play old games?
