Microsoft has earlier said that we should not expect to hear much regarding VR gaming on Project Scorpio at E3, but Microsoft’s Alex Kipman wanted to reassure gamers and mixed reality fans that they were still committed to the platform.

“We are all-in on mixed reality,” he said. “Our primary focus is making our Windows Mixed Reality experiences a success.”

He noted that despite not talking about VR at E3, the company was getting ready to reveal both first and 3rd party games for the platform soon.

“We have games from Microsoft Studios in development for Windows Mixed Reality, and several game developers are working closely with us to bring their titles to Windows Mixed Reality. We’ll have more to share on specific games and content experiences coming to Windows Mixed Reality later this summer, after E3. This is just the start for us.”

VR so far has failed so I am hoping Microsoft's Mixed Reality will be what VR should have been. Good to hear they will be showing games soon.

:) I really believe Microsoft is taking the right direction with this.
Unfortunatly so far, VR did not really had a good start but it is good to see Sony, Facebook and others trying.

Sony is doing the best because they tried to make it mainstream. Did not work that much but this is how you start it.

lol, I think it would good for them to probaly have a special event later when they get ready to show it off. 

For how many weeks?

Yes :) Well, with their DEV edition coming out in August, I expect something in october/november maybe. And then next year for the Xbox One.
I said it and will say it again but the sensors in HoloLens (same used in the new headsets they are coming out with from partners) is just something so advanced and working so well. 

Well, I wouldn't say that VR has failed, more that it was never going to be the next big thing, and that it is mainly something that a dedicated base would support.
