So, a while ago we had a Junji Ito thread, and that made me think. Do you remember the manga Uzumaki? That weird story where the theme was spirals? That reminded me of when Junji ito made some Pokemon fanart.
And then we have ARMS, an universe where people suddenly grow extensible ARMS, frequently following some spiral pattern.
IT'S ARMS.
They don't know how they got them, they don't know when they come from... All they know is they're "pretty rad". Seems pretty spooky, if you ask me.
Does that remind you of anything? Like when people suddenly starts becoming snails for no reason? Or when people start growing hair in the shape of spirals? Wait a minute, that sounds familiar...
Also, people start developing an unhealthy obsession to "become" ARMS, until they succeed one way or another.
The influence of the ARMS starts to become so great that it even grings forth new life...
What if ARMS is just a spinoff of Uzumaki? Just look at this official art of the game, specifically the black and white drawings, and tell me it's not related to the Uzumaki spirals.
The writting's on the wall. Wake up sheeple.
