BC is cool and all but players wouldnt have used it (and Youtube) as much if X1 had a better library.

Thats like saying steam users wont use their other features on the PC like the browser if steam had a better library. You cant be gaming all time.

People cant use the 50 percent......when the feature is available to everyone on the platform......17 months later it averages out to about 1-3 hours per customer a month and about 17-34 an hour a customer.

You would think it would be higher with all the free games they give out every month tbh its not that impressive and actually kinda proves the article

Netflix is BC's greatest competition on Xbone. Let's not forget those 4K Blu-rays and TV too. Xbone games are nonexistent, so they pose no threat. Too many multi-media options killing the BC quality time. Providing too many options is a bad thing, when statistics is involved.

Xbone... the new "N" word   Apparently I troll MS now | Evidence | Evidence

It's kind of a sad statistic though. One might think that there is nothing worth new to play.

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

Very accurate with the recent report.

How does this make the other report invalid? The AT report showed that only 1.5% of total XBO hours are spent specifically on playing BC games.

I feel like MS always gives weird stats involving hours played or other such metrics, but it's often hard to know whether the stat is truly impressive or not, bc it's all relative. 508 million hours have been spent playing BC games, but what does that really tell us? According to AT, that's 508,000,000 hours playing BC games out of a total of 33,866,666,667 total hours people have spent on xbox.

lots of months the best games people get with gold are 360 games so it makes sense people would play them I am sure I would do the same on my PS4 if it was offered.

B/C is amazing value and its good to see it being used!

IMO XO BC > PS now

That's equal to saying: DVD playback on Blu-ray players > Netflix

Ofcourse it's only true if you already own the blu-ray player and the dvd.

Not really. Most people use bc for games they already own for no extra cost.

People find a way to shit on Xbox no matter what. In any case, I'm glad about the BC feature. If nothing else, it enables me deleting games that I have on the 360 hard drive.
