How come in Super Mario World, rather than the usual devious grin, Big Boo looks infuriated? Were they trying to make him scarier? Other than in Yoshi's Safari he doesn't have such an enraged look in later games. |
The enemy is actually based on Tezuka's wife who was noted to be very timid, one day how ever she did lose her temper with him and erupted which inspired the Boo's concept hence why they look angry, I'm not even trying to be funny that's how Nintendo came up with the Boo.
