I would place Metroid entirely in the Capital of the Galactic Federation. The city had been invaded by the Space Pirates and Samus must recapture one sector after another, making her way through the devastated streets, barren houses, the sewers, etc. She would Morph Ball through ventilation shafts or under debris, grappling on street lamps and speed boosting through a highway. She would eventually have to climb one big large building which is under the pirate's control, like for example the GF main quarters, and then fight Ridley on the roof. Samus' upgrades are based entirely on Space Pirate technology as no Chozo artefacts are present in the city. She would also have most of her basic moves right from the beginning like Morph Ball, Missiles, Grapple Beam, Speed Bosster and Charge Beam (but no Space Jump as it would make progress too easy). She could find alien weapons and technologys which enlarge her arsenal and help her recognize/dismantle traps, make her invisible for a short time or give her a power jump so she can reach higher grounds.

OT: Your Peach idea sounds great, actually! I would play that!

Zelda "How I'd do it"

-Takes place well into the future

-Ganon is “sealed” away

-The blood line of Zelda have been corrupted over the generations where her descendants have become evil and feel that in order to bring back the need and importance of their family they want to “release” Ganon.

-Story is based around the aftermath of a coordinated attempt to wipe out Link's blood line due to Zelda's blood line knowing the only way to stop their plan was the Link family blood line

-The world is open like BOTW but encompasses massive underground cities and locations due to the need to escape the surface (apart of the story)

-Story unfolds that the surface is where Ganon is sealed away, the ancestors of the royal family failed to defeat Ganon and Link in this time line fell to Ganon so they had to escape

--------------------Game play changes------------------------------

-Open air and ground ability (digging and being able to create new tunnels and pathways into locations)

-Weapons are more focused on long range and stealth items until the end where the Master Sword is obtained

-Ability for online friends to visit and conduct commerce from your dedicated town and custom weapons, clothing and potions

Not bad, but members of Zelda's bloodline turning evil, I just don't know what to make of it.

And wouldn't a futuristic setting be a bit much of a shift from Breath of The Wild?

-The turning evil was more about the fact the kingdom has turned away from the Royal bloodline so what remains are members so desperite for their return to glory and nessesity they believe the only way to achieve this is to bring the plight of Ganon down on everyone so they can be called on to defeat him-without the Link bloodline. Maybe it can be told as the major legend that has been told throughout the ages is how Zelda defeated Ganon and the knowledge of Link's envolvement is a royal family secret turned internally to almost an insult to the family. 

Futuristic would look like an entire world where the technology found in BOTW is common everywhere. Its impact is on clothing, weapons and travel abilities.

Well that makes somewhat more sense then, but those particlar members of the royal bloodline come off as idiots.

Also I kinda would like to see Link being able to use a lightsaber. XD

Anyway, here's how I'd make a new Paper Mario game:

-The partner system is brought back in full swing.

-Reuse the battle system from the first two Paper Mario games, but now Mario can have two partners fight alongside him at once.

-Some of Mario's new partners are members of Mario universe races who've yet to fight alongside him (like a chain chomp, shy guy, blooper, buzzy beetle, etc.).

-The plot has Mario trying to collect seven special objects when he hears Bowser could use them for evil.

-Bowser returns as the main antagonist, only instead of simply kidnapping Peach, he's trying to acquire the game's McGuffins as a plot to make her love him back.

-Wario and Waluigi are a recurring bossfight, as they're after said McGuffins just to become rich.

-Mario's partners from the original Paper Mario show up at parts of the story in supporting roles.

-Luigi has his own side-story like in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, but this time we actually get to see how it happened.

-Have new kinds of worlds to explore that don't normally show up in a Mario RPG.

-Have a goofier overtone that harkens back to the original Paper Mario.

I dig that. I propose these ideas. 

-The story is about an unknown 'force' looking to collaspe the Mario universe

-Mario finds out quickly that to defeat the unknown force he must escape the Mushroom Kingdom 

-Paper Mario is traveling between game worlds (metroid, Starfox, etc)

-Finds at the Apex of the story that to obtain the full power to defeat the force he must exit the Nintendo universe

-Spends the last third of the game teaming up with the Sonic universe to defeat the joint alliance between Eggman and Bowser.
