I don't agree, I think GTA4's graphics are very good. Have you seen the HD version of the trailers? The lighting is very good for example.

GTA4's graphics are above what one would expect judging from the previous GTA games vs other games of their generations.

 If GTA 4 comes to the Wii might as well port it to DS, PS2 and  PSP too. A scaled down version of GTA 4 would sell heaps on the other platforms without HD.

Instead of saying that, maybe you could enlighten those people by telling them how/why they're wrong?

This is the best GTA in terms of graphics etc but I isn't the best looking game.

 He is obviously referring to creator of the thread. Must be a bit upset that his GTA 4 has been criticised. Take a look at the videos of GTA 4 on first page of thread.

What is the point of making GTA games with truly impressive graphics if they would take 4-5 years to make

I have been underwhelmed by all current gen graphics thus far. We have been promised graphics that would be like the jump from2D to 3D all over again, yet no game has delivered that yet IMO.

The only thing which could do that would be 4D, and I don't think people want to play in 4D (although some people play 4D rubik cube).

What were you expecting of current-gen graphics? Something akin to Crysis, or something even more photo-realistic?
