This is Cerebralbore here. And now in addition to not being able to change my password, vgchartz is refusing to even send a temporary password to my email address. This is ridiculous. I've been locked out of my main account for over a week now. Somebody please fix this shit. It's getting really old.

Also, don't ban this account once this gets fixed. There are only so many e-mail addresses that I can use to make a throwaway account. I shouldn't have to make a throwaway account every fucking time that the website fucks up. Does anybody that works for the site check their email? I've emailed the webmaster three times over this, only to get no response.

Not sure about the changing password issue, for the second issue you'll have to ask Trucks for your password, for some reason VGChartz refuses to email pretty much anyone their password reset which is annoying.

What address did you send an email to? You aren't the first user I've heard say that they don't get a response from the VGC Email, I believe the VGChartz Mod Email works fine however so I assume it's the Admin one that you didn't get a response from?

I sent it to webmaster@vgchartz.com

Also, vgchartz refuses to send anyone both their password, and their confirmation link. This means the site is no longer accepting new users. By some miracle I was able to login and post without clicking the activation email for this account.

Well, there's some new users here, so it must work at least partially, but yeah, this site has a lot of issues

I don't know who manages the code on the website anymore - I used to do it for quite some time, but was banged up with my 'real' job so much so, that I was simply unable to keep up with VGChartz any longer. I will check in with Brett though, and see what's going on these days - if he needs a hand, maybe I can help him out a bit and squash some bugs as needed... ...stay tuned.

Please, PLEASE get in contact with him!! We haven't heard fomr him in so long, I'd love to hear at least something from him!

Well at least you get a email back in 2008 no such feature worked lol.

I still can't change mine either. Did this ever get fixed for you?

They finally fixed it! TruckOSaurus set me up with a new password. He's awesome.

Is the process itself fixed? Or, did he just supply you with a password?

I only sent a new password that I manually reset. I gotta find some time to do a complete overall of any emails sent from VGC, I think rules are stricter these days and the way emails are sent right now gives emails a bad spam score which blocks them entirely for a lot of providers.

I can't connect to my real account, because vgchartz changed the password, and the "i want to change the password" email don't work.

I don't even receive the email, so i can't access vgchartz anymore until the email work again, or if someone can send manually a email for this.
