| Peh said: The last Street Fighter I've played was part 4 on the 3ds. Online battle was disastrous. Everyone was using either Ryu, Ken, Guille or Blanka and spamming the same attack over and over and over again, because thanks to Capcom, they made it possible to execute those command via a press of a single button. |
My experience as well. I went from being pretty good/great on Xbox/PlayStation to getting owned by people doing impossible moves at the press of a button. And it's like I had some kind of mental block preventing me from playing "cheap".
Unlike many here, I never stopped playing playing SF. Every iteration from the early 90's to SFV. Even the EX series.
This game is a hard sell for me.
2017 is Street Fighter 30th anniversary but it has been 25 years for me since I bought the 1992 SNES SF2 cart. I have played every SF game since.
Yesterday I bought Switch USF2FC on launch day at Target where I work. Until yesterday I thought the game was eshop download only, I did not know it was being sold as cart. For $40, though, I guess so. I was lucky to get a copy late afternoon.
I love It! SF2 is best SF game, I have not played in a while but I always rediscover It! Happy 30th, SF! SF2 started fighting game craze that continues Today!
2017 is also 25th anniversary of Mortal Kombat! What does Netherealm have Planned?
Also on Thursday I downloaded King of Fighters 99 for Switch. $8.49. Love KOF and other Neo Geo fighting games, Too! SNK is right up there with Capcom and Netherealm!
