is this a good game, and is it a dark game, such as bioshock, because I dont like those games

Good game? Sure, it's ranks among the better FPSs. However, single player is short. Does it have a dark story? No, but the story sucks anyway and that's not why you play it. It's only $20 so that's not a lot to risk.

thanks

It's a pretty cool game...beware of the PC requirements though, Ubisoft sucks at porting to the PC efficiently.

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

I can vouch for what BenKenobi88 says - The PC port is pretty poor in it's unnecessarily high system requirements and does run sluggish on powerful systems. It has bad choices on what resolutions you can use and I don't think there's a true widescreen support implemented yet (but it may have happened with a patch).

Speaking of patches, R6Vegas is probably gonna be forgotten completely by Ubisoft now R6V2 is out, don't hold your breath.

Yea, I haven't heard many good things about Rainbow Six: Vegas on the PC. In my opinion though, I didn't like the game that much anyway when I rented it on the PS3. I didn't really feel that into the story and it made things worse because it was difficult to hear what people were saying when story elements were happening, which was coupled with the game not having any subtitles.

Still, the squad tactics were interesting, but I don't think the squad AI was too amazing. I would rate it an average game in my opinion, but that's just me.

What sucks is that I think R6V is actually a very good game with alot going for it, it's just that the PC version seems so wrong in so many ways it's actually stopped me playing it!
