 I used to be great against Ike with Fox.  Now I just suck with Fox.  Whenever I use him I can never seem to pull of his smash attacks. 

Maybe it's because I got better? =p
I have no strategy against pit though.

I have no strategy against pit though.

 


I've definitely gotten worse.  I always had problems with Melee where I just couldn't pull of smash attacks.  I'd always do my weaker over-A, down-A, or up-A instead.  In Brawl, I was able to pull of smash attacks left and right, but now I'm a little off again like I was in Melee.  It's something about the joystick.  It's as if the joystck in my head is rotated slightly counter-clockwise compared ot the one on the GC controller or something.

Not to say that I can't pull them off at all.  I just only pull them off maybe 60% of the time, which throws me off. 

Maybe I should start being cheap and use the C-stick. >_>

Pit messes up your timing, based on when I fight you with him.

Nah, Marth is by far the cheapest.

Generally, it's the good and/or popular characters that get hated on the most for being "cheap".

How is Marth cheap?

Pit's projectiles are too powerful for him. Pit's close range attacks are arguebly the best in the game. You can't give crazy powerful projectiles on top of that. That's like giving Ike Marth-like speed.

How is Marth cheap?

His over B combo seems to have priority over everything, has a wide range, and can be used over and over again in succession. When going up against Marth with a similar style character (fast with no ranged attacks, ala Fox), it's a pain getting around it. And then when you do get near him, all he does is counter.

And let's not get started on edge-guarding.

You would still consider him cheap if he didn't have that stupid projectile? His other stuff is fine, but you can't give him the best projectile on the game in addition to it.
