Oh hey, which one of you was the other Fox in that one match?  Your brother?  That was a lot of fun.  ^_^

I was so confused at the beginning of the match.  I was looking at the other Fox for the first 10 seconds and wondering what was going on.  I was like, I didn't just hop and Down + A.  What's going on!?

Yeah, it was my bro. He was a bit surprised at the end, he thought he still had another stock but I guess my grenade did the thing!

But guys, you have to admit that those 6+ kills you got every matches was because of the Smash attacks (like 1 every second or so). I thought it was really cheap when I wasn't even trying... like going from 0% to 100% in less than 15 seconds. =\

^^ it only felt that way because you were ganon slow .....lol its called smash brothers ! you smash the hell out of ppl! I don't see a problem ...if they spam smash attacks wait after they smash grab them or attack when they lag after the smash .

Anywho, it was really nice playing with Kirk/Krik/Brawl.  Unlike the Riot, iclim4, Tao games, I hardly felt any effects of lag.

Like take your Zelda for example. Whenever I tried to attack you or got stuck in the air, it was either a Down-Smash or Left/Right-Smash. I grew tired of flying around the level! xD

Or heck, even Fox. He does have a more varied moveset when it's not the Down-Smash that is getting abused.

Not trying to insult you or anything, but with the lag, it just didn't prove me anything. I'll rematch you that's for sure! ^_^

The problem is most of Fox's moves have a wind-up time of a few frames and the Down + A has the least wind up time of Fox's attacks that send people flying really far.  Only the non-smash Side + A comes close and since I couldn't always be facing you, Down + A was easier.  ^_^

I try to pick the attacks that come out the quickest.

And yeah, that's why I miss SSBMelee. Ganondorf was just too good... He was today's Ike, but with the L-cancelling and the Wave dash and the speed. Smashes were less needed to defeat your opponent in that game. Normal A and aerial A combos were good enough. Real show of skills, with no lag too (duh!), so it was a bit easier to perform that technique you're talking about! Yep, good times! =P

There is one technique that they've made a lot easier to perform in Brawl though. I've always called it the ''Perfect Shield'' in Melee, but this time you know you've pulled it off when you hear a big ''shield'' sound. It's the one that can reflect objects/projectiles thrown at you or just completely stop a strong/smash attack (and you can Shield+A after... etc.).

They've made that easier?  My timing must be off then... I could easily do that in Melee, but I haven't hit the sweet spot in Brawl yet.
