Yeah, you are right that it comes off as a Generations sequel. But it looks more poorly made. That new gameplay footage with the new avatar character isnt that good. The previous footage of Green Hill was just downright bad. I understand its still in development so maybe things will improve closer to launch, and I will re-evaluate then. Poorly made? Bad gameplay? Please explain! Graphically it's pretty much the same as Generations a game that looked amazing. The core gameplay is almost exactly the same as Generations, though Modern Sonic's boost meter now fills from Wisp capsules which is definitely a negative but not a huge problem. Custom Hero gameplay is pretty much the same as Modern Sonic only with gadgets instead of boosting. Level design we've barely seen anything of but I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt here. Yeah Green Hill looks worse than it did in Generations but they're screwed either way on this since if they did make it look the same people would complain they just copy-pasted it.
