Switch is the hottest platform right now in Japan, the country where rythm games are played the most, adding to that that the game will be based off Japan itself it's easy to think that Switch would make for a more suitable platform.

but Kickstarter is a predominantly Western demographic orientated site. That is not to say that the Japanese/ Asian audience is ignored, but it is pretty clear who they are appealng to.

Still, if the argument for Switch over X1 comes down to Japan, I can understand the sentiment.

That's the reason why the game hasn't even met the 100k goal which is 1/11th of the funding needed in 3 days, it's not the kind of game that caters to a western audience otherwise it would have blown up on social media and it'd be already funded...

It actually has reached 118,000 already.

The Democratic Nintendo fan....is that a paradox? I'm fond of one of the more conservative companies in the industry, but I vote Liberally and view myself that way 90% of the time?

According to the latest backer update, porting games to the Switch isn't as stupid easy as it seems. They wanted as much funding as possible before attempting to retool multiplayer aspects to accomodate the Nintendo handheld.

Regardless, we'll be lucky to get a single player mode at this funding rate. =/

Sounds like funding the game alone is proving to be quite the challenge than it is to accommodate for another system in general.

Mankind, in its arrogance and self-delusion, must believe they are the mirrors to God in both their image and their power. If something shatters that mirror, then it must be totally destroyed.
