I don't think that Yooka-Laylee being released is going to change their mindset too much. Or maybe its mediocre reception made them even more hesitant. I don't know, but I predict that we won't see a new Banjo-Kazooie for a while.

I don't trust Microsoft with any Rare IP, every time they do something with them it never ends well.

They already did that. Unless you mean a complete remake.

RARE is dead. That RARE Collection is pretty nice though, every company should do this kind of Gaming Museum collection of old classic games.

A remake doesnt sound like a bad idea either. a reimagining of the first one like PS4's Ratchet and Clank. 

They did for the 360, and it was also on Rare Replay.
