horizontal split screen ?or vertical split screen?

I like the horizental split screen more cause it gives me wider visibility(and abit less height which is not important),,,,and yet there are only few games done this way (i.e. Army of two )

why do most of the games have the vertical split screen?the view becomes really narrow and rather tiresome in the long-run game play

Horizontal as well, vertical is very annoying.

horizontal fo sho its, u can compare it to a movie, would u rather watch it horizontaly or verticaly? but racing games r different, u need to see further so vertical works better.

Yeah, horizontal is way better than vertical. There's not too many things happening at different heights, whereas there are things happening to the right or left of you very often.
