I was wondering what some of you people though about the movie, Donny Darko. It seems that a lot of people liked it and I for one usualy do like those kinds of movies.

It did intrigue me but in the end I didn't like it. I felt that some of the ideas were a bit scattered and misrepresented. While some parts were there just to cater to the audience(Swayze ending up with child porn).

I've search all over the net for unanswered questions about the movie but can find none. This movie seems to try and be more then it really is. It tries to be trippy just for the sake being that way to appeal to a certain group of people that will easily fall for it.

I feel the same way about this movie as rocketpig feels about MGS2(look up thread: will mgs4 be better than mgs2).

Please disscuss how you felt about the movie.

Its the kind of movie you have to see at least twice. Those ideas won't seem so scattered any more.

I watched this move 2 times consecutively and the a third 2 days later.

Have you tried being really baked while watching it? lol.

Good movie. Great style. Ending doesn't make sense ultimately.

Decent movie. Kind of fell apart towards the end though.

Its a good movie, thee are some really good things about it. I've seen it three times but I think the ending could've been a bit better.

Ha. Funny just how much more intriguing/fascinating some movies become that way.

Donnie Darko's great, but it makes you feel depressed every time you watch it.  Or at least I do. 

Great movie, beats the crap out of mainstream hollywood crap that is endlessly pumped out.

Its not as hard to get as what people say.
