I'm not going to see the semifinal, but I'll be there for this saturday's final!

I hope Australia wins (of course Spain won't), just for the lols.

Australia won't get to the top 10

It's a pity, it's certainly the best European country.

I don`t know why most of the Eurovision songs sucks, one or another that are Worth it. I can name the french 2009 entry and Dana International Diva as some of the few good ones.

I can name 50 better than those honestly, in fact this year Italy, Portugal and Belgium have nothing to envy to those songs.

I don`t agree much, i`m still listening to the songs, but most of them seems to be really cheesy or to have really outdated tunes. I discovered Patricia Kaas through  Eurovision and I love her songs. There`s that guy Johny Logan entries that are also really good musics. But there some really cringe worth songs in this festival.

The percentage of songs that are trash o just "meh" is always high (I think that many countries try to do the bare minimun), but there's always a couple of good songs and some catchy ones.

Waterloo alone is enough to dignify the festival, in my opinion.

I think Italy, Portugal and Belgium are the best. I think Italy has the best chances to win, since a lot of people might find the Portuguese song a bit boring, and the performance of the Belgian song is not so good (she doesn't move and seems to have a lot of stress).

Whoever will win this year, I will like it a lot better than last year's.

I think Italy's stage performance is pretty awful, might cost them a few points.

Really? I haven't seen them perform yet.

I won't say its awful but the camera realization is not on point and the gorilla get lost in the black of the staging. Also sometimes it looks kind of messy, there are many colors and stuff happening on the screen plus a dancing gorilla, an italian man dancing like crazy and 4 backsingers each one dress with a different color.... it can be overwhelming.

yeah, you got a point

Portugal takes you back to the 60's with a very deep song and a unique heartfelt performance, Italy is cool and catchy but I think Portugal deserves it more this year

Belgium is my personal favorite in the contest, it's the best charting ESC song on itunes at the moment, entered the itunes charts of most semi1 countries so I wouldn't rule out a Belgium win

Glad to know Belgium is doing well on the charts, really good song.

Italy is actually really really good too, the official video on youtube has more than 100 milions of visits and I totally understand why, however the shorter Eurovision version is a bit worse since they jump from a chorus to another and the live performance is great but is not as powerful as Portugal imo, still I would be very happy with an Italian victory too, but Portugal would be even more beautiful because they have never won since they started on 1964, its currently the country with worst results of the contest but this year they are doing everything right.

Also, I want to go to the contest some year and Lisboa is pretty close from Spain so I may go in 2018 :P

yeah, Italy is better on the music video than on stage

Idon't mind whether Italy or Portugal wins, seems it's gonne be a close one between the two, the odds have Italy and Portugal really really close

I want to go ESC live some time too!! even if ticket prices are too high :@

don't mind my username, that was more than 10 years ago, I'm a different person now, amazing how people change ^_^

I would really want for Turkey to come back to ESC - I always liked their music. With the current political landscape it will probably not happen soon.
I also like songs from the Balkans but recently they have not been as good.
Trough the years I have liked many of the Portuguese songs but I have not heard this years entry. I like that they always sings in Portuguese.

I think these countries will go to the finals:

Austria
Romania
Netherlands
Denmark
Norway
Switserland
Belarus
Bulgaria
Estonia
Israel
