Sounds like Switch carts cost substantially more than optical media. Hopefully these costs will lower in the future or we could be looking at one of Switch's greatest weakness.

Just so you two know, Spem was being sarcastic.
However, I'm not convinced that the cost is all that substantial, the math just doesn't make sense. People keep thinking of N64 carts when discussing the Switch cards. Note I said CARDS. The Nintendo Switch game cards are not iterations on ye olde cartridges. They are based on flash media tech which is not very expensive when your target performance is just comparable to a 5000RPM HDD.
What this actually tells me is that the profit margins Grey Box are working on are alarmingly thin.
