I think if you've since played the games that arrived in the first two months of a specific system, it's eligible!
Dreamcast, hands down.
Gamecube - Luigi's Mansion, Super monkey Ball, and Rogue Squadron II were great and then Smash Bros. Melee came along and dominated my gaming hobies for months.
I've never gotten a console at launch so I don't have one.. D:
Though the first 60 days of getting my 3DS was pretty good :p

Can't find a list of October 1999 games but the launch lineup still one of the best ever. IMO no console since has matched it's launch lineup.
I've not bought many consoles at launch. Between the Switch, PS4, and Xbox360, though, the Switch has definitely been my best experience so far. I think I remember enjoying Deadrising or something with Xbox360, but that was initially it... with PS4 I pretty much played ACIV (which was awesome) and then it was nearly a year before I bought another game.
