Switch turned two months old yesterday. Precocious little scamp, isn't it?

I realized upon reflecting on the last 60 days that Switch had, for me at least, the best first two months of any system I've owned.

Breath of the Wild is probably my new #1 game and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will most likely settle in the top 25. Meanwhile, Blaster Master Zero and Wonder Boy: The Dragon's Trap (also available on PC, XOne, and PS4) are among the best games of the year.

What about you? What are your favorite first 60 days, from launch? SNES? Dreamcast? PS2? GameCube? Xbox 360? Wii?

Are we talking about 60 days from launch or 60 days from getting it?

I'd say the PS2 then. I loved TimeSplitters, that game alone may take the cake. But there's also Tekken Tag Tournament, Dynasty Warriors 2, DOA2: Hardcore, Ridge Racer V, etc. I loved its launch titles!

Im gonna say SNES as I got it by launch date with SMW and FZero and I freaking loved them, but in truth I dont usually get consoles in their first 60 days. The first batch usually has a lot of hardware issues.

I've never bought a console right at launch so can't say. As far as best two months owning a new console, PS4 for sure. Since I had more money and time to spend, I went crazy buying games

You know, PS2 usually gets flak for missing a lot of FPS games, but it had a pretty strong line-up. TimeSplitters, Killzone, and Red Faction, plus ports of Half-Life, Unreal Tournament, and Quake III, among others.

Oh, we can only count consoles that we got at launch? I guess the PS4 would win by default for me.
